Where can I find a free book on Cerebral Palsy.
I have read a lot online but I need a comprehensive resource that I
can hold in my hand. Is there some book that I can get free perhaps
from a Government agency?Dear isoman-ga,
The National Dissemination Center for Children with Disabilities
publishes several CP books, pamphlets, and fact sheets, most of which
are free of charge. You can either order them or download a PDF
version of them online:

Another free book can be downloaded online from the Royal Children's
Hospital in Australia:

http://www.rch.org.au/rch/index.cfm?doc_id=1495
One more downloadable free book can obtained from Grandview Children's
Center in Canada:

I hope this answer was helpful.
-welte-gaHi,
Thanks for that information.
I found this website: http://www.click-directory.com/cerebral_palsy/
They have "Children With Cerebral Palsy: A Parents' Guide"
by Elaine Geralis for free.
Do you know if it is a good book? The book you mention is available from Amazon at this link:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0933149824/qid=1108357300/sr=2-1/ref=pd_ka_b_2_1/103-9080746-6413431
Their price is a little lower than on the web site you note. It
received 5/5 stars from 7 reviewers on Amazon. You can also look
inside the book and see if it would be helpful to you.
-welte-gaThe website i noted, has it free.
How is Amazon cheaper than free?Sorry about that - I saw that the *suggested* price was $18. Amazon
does let you look through portions of the book, which you may find
helpful.#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
